HOW OUR ESTATE SALE
PROCESS WORKS

Change can bring a lot to sort through, especially when there are memories, family decisions, and a home involved. Whatever has brought you here, we’ll meet you with compassion and help you take things one step at a time. From the first conversation through the final details, we’ll bring organization, guidance, and a steady hand to help you move forward with confidence.

Our full-service St. Louis estate sale process is designed to make every step easier, from the initial consultation and home preparation to sale weekend and final transition.

Step 1: Share Your Story

Complete our online inquiry form, and our Family Experience Director will reach out to schedule a conversation. We'll take time to understand your family's situation, answer your questions, and learn what kind of support you need.

Step 2: In-Home Consultation

We'll visit the property to walk through the home together. During this visit, we'll discuss your priorities, identify the items you'd like to keep, determine what you'd like to sell, and understand your overall goals for the home and the transition.

Step 3: Prepare the Home

Once you decide to move forward, we'll ask that you remove any personal belongings and keepsakes you wish to keep. From there, our team will carefully document the remaining contents of the home for our records before beginning the estate sale preparation.

Step 4: We Handle the Details

A few days before the sale, we'll collect the house keys so our team can professionally stage, organize, price, and merchandise the home to create the best possible shopping experience and maximize sale potential.

Step 5: Estate Sale Weekend

Most of our estate sales run for two days. Our team manages every aspect of the event, from marketing and staging to customer service, sales, checkout, and security so you don't have to worry about a thing.

Our services are compensated through a commission on the items sold, with the rate determined by the size, complexity, and scope of the project. During your consultation, we'll provide a clear proposal outlining exactly what's included, so you'll know what to expect before we begin.

Step 6: Transition Support

After the sale, our work doesn't have to end. If needed, we can coordinate donation pickups, junk removal, deep cleaning, and other trusted vendors to prepare the property for its next chapter. Whether you're getting the home market-ready or simply closing this season with peace of mind, we're here to help every step of the way.
